August Update (2022) ☀️

We just wanted to get a quick update out to keep everyone posted, but everything has been going very well still! On July 28th we met up with Jane in Fargo and had our second ultrasound, baby is measuring 9.5 weeks along at this appointment and is growing perfectly. We also received the news at this point that Jane will be released from ORMs directive and turned over to her own OB for the remainder of the pregnancy 🎉 After the ultrasound, we were able to meet with the intake nurse at the hospital who was very informative and gave us some information to prepare us for baby's arrival at their location. Jane also met with her OB a few days later, she was able to update us with an "official" due date of around 2/14/23 and also confirmed that the pregnancy is looking great!

We are both very excited and still can't believe this is now our reality!! We have started to get into the nesting stages over here, getting our checklists ready of everything we are going to need, and also starting to coordinate a gender reveal shower that Ryan's mom and sister will be helping organize for our immediate families sometime in October. Jane has also been doing really well, she says her nausea has gotten way better and lately has been craving nothing but cucumbers all day 😂 She is seriously amazing, and we love being able to have such a great relationship and communication with her on a daily and weekly basis.

So the next steps will be a lot of upcoming appointments over the months, with the next checkup being about a month away. We will do our best to post monthly and keep everyone updated, but assume at this point no news is great news!!
